Add Laravel Valet certificate to Postman

When working with Postman on a local API served via Valet, you may run into the issue shown above, SSL Error: Unable to verify the first certificate, well worry not, as the solution is simple.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open preferences inside postman

  2. Navigate to the ‘Certificates’ tab and turn 'CA Certificates' to 'On'

  3. Click 'Select File' next to where it says 'PEM File'

  4. Navigate to valets .pem certificate file

  5. et voilà!

This is how it should look after completing the steps above.

The .pem path is:

/Users//.config/valet/CA/LaravelValetCASelfSigned.pem

Domains are often purchased from multiple providers, keeping track of where a domain is and its DNS settings can be tricky. Domain Mapper solves this by listing all your domains in one place. View your DNS settings and receive reminders to renew your domains. Try it today.
